we lost this guy. he loved cookies… and peanut butter… and well all things FOOD!
over and over
james and nikko have gone outside at least twenty times tonight. each time they go out, nikko won’t pee… so james takes him right back in. right away he goes back to the door and wants to go out again. over and over in circles they go… he’s gotta learn!
chayote is evil
i thought it would be the tonight’s easy answer to our daily “what’s for dinner?” conversation. and it was. simple chinese soup makes my throat feel better and keeps our tummies warm. this bumpy squash is packed full of vitamins, but has no taste. it was an easy addition to my soup… that i just happen to be allergic to! the sap/oils made my hands feel awful. they were all dried and stiff. i used every kind of soap in the house. i tried scrubs, vinegar, and just scratching it all off. my skin just won’t stop peeling. i looked it up and people say it is mostly harmless… kind of feels like a bad chemical peel. it doesn’t happen to everyone, just lucky me!
