yes, we still have our christmas decorations up! emi loves climbing up the stairs and playing with the snoopys. she has discovered that some of them have buttons that make snoopy move and make sounds. her favorite thing to do now is to push one and dance to the music!

at the end of week two we are finally settling into a new routine. i’ve learned that drop off has to be quick and purposeful. i tell her i love her and that i’m coming back later. some days she waves goodbye and other days i can still here her screaming from outside the room. the teachers tell me she is doing great. she is already picking up songs and the hand motions that go along with them. i love watching her learn new things every day!

i caught emi climbing again. i think she was trying to go reach george on the floor. looks like it’s time to lower the crib again!
