lessons learned
20 Jan

- mommies thrive on routine. even though some days have curve balls our new routine keeps expectations clear and i am happy that emi has been adapting so well.
- napping at school is magic. the teachers have magical powers that get emi to sleep for 2+ hours every day!
- a custom name stamp + stayz on ink have been my best purchases so far. i can stamp emi’s name on every single piece of tupperware and clothing that goes to school.
- a more active emi = a more hungry emi. again, all i hear from her teachers is “emi is such a good eater!”
- cooking more means more dishes and less trash. somehow the sink always seems full of dirty dishes, but i have also noticed that we have had less garbage!
- we need flu shots EVERY year. emi loves us so much that she brought home a nasty flu. luckily she had her shots and was barely sick. i’m a different story… i think i’m going on day 10 of bedrest.

She is so cute…hungry girl!!!
“Sweet dreams, little Princess!”
