i took emi to kilohana for lunch today. we shared a dole whip and got saimin to go. i was taught at an early age that dessert always comes first… now it’s my turn to pass it on!

emi and i have been going to food trucks for lunch all year. we’ve been lucky that there have been a variety of local regulars to try. last night we finally got to take james to a local meet up for dinner and hang out with some friends. thank you for a night of great fellowship!

today emi picked up my phone and started talking to it. i’m not sure what she’s saying, but she’s been walking around the room having a real conversation!
