i hoped to reshoot this set because emi was so unhappy, but it’s a pretty accurate snapshot of her at that time. she partied too hard and it took a whole week to get adjusted!

i finally found some time to bake today. james wanted something for breakfast at work so i made mini muffins. (recipe from circle b kitchen)

i guess when you turn one everything accelerates. the past few weeks have flown by and i can barely keep up. emi started standing and quickly moved on to taking steps all on her own. we transitioned to whole milk and she eats more than ever. she babbles nonstop… “mum mum” and “dad” are her favorite things to say. and finally her first tooth is finally coming in on the bottom! we are fully aware that our little girl is not a baby anymore!
