the chang story

after practicing all morning yesterday emi finally made it to the top.

i’ve been trying to get some work done in my loft, but emi keeps coming to find me. james tried sitting in the doorway and she tried to plow through him to get to the other side. i put a gate there, but she immediately wanted to climb it. i moved some boxes around this morning and i caught her trying to climb again!

on saturday we took emi to her very first obon festival. it was a day full of taiko, shave ice, sushi and beef teriyaki! i can’t wait until emi is old enough to stay for odori and dance with me!

on sunday i was helping the typelites ladies at the renegade craft fair at fort mason. we got there a little early so we explored the farmers market and got to try the roli roti truck! while i was working james and emi went to the park for a picnic.
